Summary:

The Diversity Recruiter is responsible for designing, developing and implementing recruitment strategies focused on diversity and inclusion. The Diversity Recruiter provides the highest level of recruitment services to hiring leaders by delivering top diversity talent.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Plans and executes the sourcing, recruiting, selection, and hiring process of qualified diverse candidates to ensure a pool of top talent for the organization while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, co-workers, candidates, and the community.
  2. Develops outreach relationships with workforce organizations (educations, non-profit organizations) to increase the pool of viable diverse candidates.
  3. Creates comprehensive recruitment strategies including advertising plans, outreach, trainings, and tracking in collaboration with the recruitment team.
  4. Creates and maintains diverse candidate pools of qualified candidates through frequent contact and notifications of positions.
  5. Fosters strong candidate relationships.
  6. Tracks Talent Acquisition diversity metrics and provides data and reports on a regular basis. Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of programs and adjusts as needed.
  7. Advances Children’s as an employer of choice while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the full staffing lifecycle.
  8. Participates in departmental activities including performance and process improvement.
  9. Other duties as required.

 

Other information:

Technical Expertise

  1. Knowledge in full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, interviewing, legal, relationship management, wage and salary trends, and due diligence, and ability to present recruiting concepts and reports to leadership preferred.
  2. Previous experience in full lifecycle recruiting, working knowledge of state and federal employment law, and demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions preferred and a consultative approach to recruitment and selection preferred.
  3. Knowledge of an electronic applicant tracking system, internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases, ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures preferred.

Education and Experience

  1. Minimum of (3) three years of recruiting experience. One year in a program manager position supporting diversity initiatives can offset a year of recruitment experience.
  2. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications required
