Job Description

Uses Quality Improvement methodologies, coaches/consults individuals, departments and interdisciplinary teams in identifying, prioritizing and implementing improvement strategies that enhances overall hospital Quality Improvement efforts.  Serves as a mentor to team members, educates colleagues in the use of Quality Improvement processes and tools, Leads organization wide Improvement projects and develops presentations. Minimal travel possible.

Bachelor of Science in health care, systems engineering, industrial engineering or other related discipline required, Masters preferred. Six to Ten (6-10) years of experience with majority of time using PI, CQI, TQM, Lean and/or Six Sigma methodology. Formal Quality Methodology training required.    Excellent leadership, facilitation, coaching and communication skills desired. Has experience working with interdisciplinary teams, professional colleagues, providers, and staff.   Experience leading organizational improvement projects required.   Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred and required within one year.
