Transport Manager (Respiratory Care)
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of patient care on assigned unit on 24 hour basis. Provides direction to development and evaluation of assigned nursing personnel. Maintains operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services. Contributes to the patient services department and the Hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and research efforts.
Graduate from a graduate from an accredited school of respiratory care, achieved the RRT credential through the NBRC and hold a current licensed as a respiratory care professional in the State of Ohio. Minimum of five years of clinic experience. (Pediatric, Transport, or Critical Care experience preferred). Demonstrated healthcare management and leadership abilities. Able to work under stressful situations. Possesses good oral and written skills. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. A demonstrated interpersonal relationship in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution, and facilitates staff development. Current Health Care Provider BLS and ACLS are required. PALS and ATLS or PFCCS required within (12) months of hire for critical care areas. Must hold a current/valid Ohio drivers license.
