This is a full time position with primary duties to be provided at the Akron Campus, Medina, Canton, and Hudson, as needed.
Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using formal and informal measures. Provides management/treatment programs for individuals with communicative disorders.
Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required. State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
Working Conditions Essential position functions (EPF) required:
Majority of work is performed in an environment that is mostly clean and comfortable, but may include some annoying factors such as noise, odors or damp floors. A minimal amount of work is performed in an environment with exposure to environmental factors of such severity as to present health problems, where such problems/injury can be prevented by use of provided protective equipment, hazard awareness and knowledge and adherence to safety guidelines.
