Office Coordinator Expressive Therapy Center
Responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly office environment. Monitors safe and reliable functioning of office equipment and facility. Communicates with other offices, hospital departments and outside agencies. Responsible for therapists schedules, maintenance and templates. Works with manager to develop systems/procedures to help the office run more efficiently. Provides the public face of the Expressive Therapy Center and will be the liaison with board members, donors, staff, hospital foundation and various other guests. Will explore funding opportunities through various resources.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum three (3) years experience with front office medical functions required. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of word processing, electronic mail, electronic medical record and scheduling software highly preferred. Proficiency in the English language with excellent use of grammar and spelling. Must have exceptional organizational and telephone skills, the ability to work with and adapt to various personalities at all levels of the organization and the ability to maintain security of corporate activities and confidential personnel actions. Must have the ability to work under stressful conditions in an appropriate and professional manner and be able to prioritize the responsibilities of a busy office.
