Non Registered EEG Technician

Shift Information: Day Job
Days / 8:00am-4:30pm
Primarily Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Some evenings/weekends required (will be notified in advance)
Performs high quality routine, portable, and long term video EEG recordings.
Records, reviews, annotates and organizes surface and intracranial raw EEG data.
Understands and applies knowledge of EEG to provide excellent patient care and customer service to patients and families.
Maintains diagnostic equipment.
Participates in quality and continuing education initiatives.
Works with department management as appropriate to ensure attainment of department goals and objectives.
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited electro-neuro diagnostic program, OR currently enrolled, OR proof of one year on-the-job structured EEG training.
If not registered at time of hire, registration will be required within 2 years of hire.
Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills required.
Healthcare provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
