Shift Information: On Call
This is an on-call position within our Sports Medicine Clinic, M-F Days at Beeghly Medical Park.
Under the supervision/direction of the Clinical Research Project Coordinator, provides patient supervision, data entry, and basic triage for injured athletes participating in the TecTraum Protocool Research Study sponsored by TecTraum. Is willing to accept on-call status. The position is valid as long as the study is actively receiving participants.
Must be a licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Ohio. Must be N.A.T.A.-BOC certified A.T.C. Must be able to work as part of a team and interact with people in a friendly, supportive manner at all times. Must have the ability to deal with a variety of situations and personalities. Must be certified in BLS, specifically with Healthcare Provider Training and First Aid. Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or other related field required.
This position will serve for a community based clinical device trial. This involves reviewing a coolant therapy among student athletes who experience a concussion. The device will be tested in twenty high schools across Northeast Ohio.
