This is a great opportunity to coordinate the development of a relatively new program (Addiction Services) to respond to the substance abuse crisis in the community.
The Program Coordinator is a professional nurse, social worker or other healthcare professional who is responsible for the organization, implementation, and administration of a regional program which provides/coordinates substance use disorder screening, counseling, education, and related services. The Program Coordinator plans, coordinates, and implements public substance use disorder education for the region in collaboration with the community. Components of this position include administration, regional outreach, professional development, education/training, fundraising, advocacy,and patient/employee support activities.
MSW, RN, or other qualified professional. BA/BS or Masters preferred. Minimum 5 years of professional experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Leadership, fund raising, public speaking, and grant writing experience desirable. Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification or licensure (LCDC) preferred.
