Stark CARE Center - Downtown Canton
Responsible for assisting providers in medical examinations and immunizations of children and adolescents who are physically and sexually abused.
Will work in conjunction with the Multidisciplinary Team of the Stark County Children's Network Child Advocacy Center (children's services, police department, etc.)
This role will also have clerical duties, including managing the day to day schedule, providing customer service, etc.
Assists in assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care for a group of patients under the delegation of a doctor and nurse practitioner.
Assists in patient/family education as well as teaching staff members within her own capabilities and under the direction of a doctor or nurse practitioner.
Provides nursing care requiring the application of basic knowledge of the biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to individuals and groups at the direction of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner.
Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing eligible for or currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio with Medication Designation.
Must have prior experience deliver superior care to children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse.
Current Health Care Provider BLS training is required.
