Shift Information: Day Job
Monday-Friday. Day shift.
Responsible for leading and managing all activities for assigned department(s), including clinical, business and operational functions. Major responsibilities include: direction and oversight of department processes, staffing (orientation, training, development, evaluating performance, scheduling of all assigned staff), inventory control and efficient utilization of resources, acquiring and maintenance of equipment, financial oversight and budgeting, and regulatory and compliance oversight of assigned department(s). Partners with department physicians and/or advanced practice providers to optimize patient care workflow. Travel to assigned departments as required.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, and a licensed registered nurse in the State of Ohio. Master’s degree in relevant field or attainment of degree 2 years from date of hire required. Minimum of two years of clinical experience and minimum of 1 year of leadership experience preferred. Candidate must demonstrate management and leadership abilities; must be able to work under stressful situations; must possess excellent oral and written skills; must demonstrate interpersonal relationship skills in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution, and facilitates staff development; must be able to effectively delegate tasks; and must be self-motivated and be able to work independently. Current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association is required.
