Position Summary:

  • Works under the supervision of the CRNA with the support of the O.R. Nurse Manager and Anesthesiologist.
  • Provides ancillary duties and assists with patient care as directed.  
  • Assists Anesthesia staff by preparing supplies; calibrating and checking anesthesia equipment; and programming devices.
  • Operates Cell Saver and other specialized equipment.
  • Cleans and maintains designated areas and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in a state approved Anesthesia Technology program, Surgical Technology program, Medical Assistant program, or one year clinical experience in the perioperative field required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
