Food Service Assistant

Shift Information: Day Job
Full Time, 40 hours/week
Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Every other weekend 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Room service call operator assisting patients/families/staff in selecting and ordering foods for patient and guest meals.
Processes patient diet and formula/TF orders, coordinates food requests and meal/diet inquiries.
Visits patients/families to explain room service and guest meals.
Prepares special formulas and tube feedings, fortifies breastmilk assuring appropriate handling, mixing, labeling and storage.
High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Minimum of one (1) year related experience required.
Previous hospital experience preferred.
Strong communication (verbal and written), mathematical, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
