Neurosurgery Dept

Full Time, Day Shift

Mon-Fri

 

Position Description:

  • Provide administrative assistance to providers, such as typing, filing, expense reports, templates, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Provides backup to other secretarial positions in the department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required. 
  • Associate degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience required. 
  • Must be able to proficiently perform secretarial and clerical work requiring independent judgment with speed and accuracy. 
  • Strong intrapersonal communication (both verbal and written), and time management skills required.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail required. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Must type 45 wpm. 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, ability to file documents accurately, proficient with a 10 key, operation of fax, and copy machines.
  • Proficient experience of spreadsheet software preferred
