Shift Information: Day Job

Position Summary:

Performs operational assessments, including conducting analysis, presenting results and recommendations, and developing measurement tools to continuously improve operating processes and systems.  Utilizes Lean/Six Sigma and Industrial Engineering techniques including flowcharting, statistical analysis, benchmarking, key performance indicators, and quality control to assist the organization in process improvement.


Bachelor’s Degree in health systems engineering, operations research, industrial engineering, management engineering, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in operational analysis and performance improvement. Significant internship experience accepted in lieu of experience. Master’s Degree preferred and accepted in lieu of experience. Excellent knowledge of Excel and Access required. Experience in performance improvement methodologies and quantitative analysis required. Lean or Six Sigma certification highly desired. Excellent project management and communication skills with interdisciplinary team, professional colleagues and staff. Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and database computer programs.
