Pediatrician - Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) Alliance
Pediatrician Opportunity, Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) Alliance
Generous Residency Stipend and Retention Bonus
Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics brings pediatric primary care for babies, children and teens to many northeast Ohio communities through our 27 pediatric offices. Join our established Alliance practice of 3 pediatricians and 2 nurse practitioners as the practice continues to grow. The Alliance office is a well-respected practice that has been in the community for more than 50 years. It is the only pediatric office in Alliance and offers a large established patient volume drawing from many surrounding areas. We welcome new graduates or established providers to step into a practice that they can continue to develop and grow. The office is expanding and will be complete by the end of 2018 adding six additional exam rooms with a location conveniently located across from Alliance Community Hospital. This is an outpatient opportunity with after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers. Calls only reach the physician after being screened by our excellent after-hours nurse triage phone line which handles more than 90% of the calls.
Our offices follow standard hospital-based policies, while retaining the local culture of each practice. Our physicians enjoy the use of EPIC as a system-wide integrated electronic health record. Our primary care offices are all PCMH certified. The Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMHs build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams. Research shows that they improve quality, the patient experience and staff satisfaction, while reducing health care costs.
