Education assistance
Our education assistance program spends over $3 million annually to invest in the higher education of our team members through continuing education and tuition reimbursement.
Regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to receive up to $5,250 in education assistance per year for approved courses, certifications, continuing education and college degree programs.

At Akron Children’s, PTO hours are earned and accrue (yes, even for part-time employees) based on your job classification, date of hire, years of service and the number of hours you’ve been paid. Accrual rates increase at 5, 10 and 15 years of service.
