Medical Assistants are extremely important and work in almost all departments at our hospital campuses, urgent care locations and in the public schools in our communities. MAs must be graduates of an accredited high school (or equivalent) and have, or be able to obtain, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preference will be given to those with a medical assistant certification or equivalent training and experience including paramedics, EMT or military.
