Job Description
Job Requisition Number 25906Nurse Program Coordinator - GI Motility
Full Time 40 hours/week
Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm
Onsite
Exempt from Overtime
Summary:
The Nurse Program Coordinator are professionals responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks that keep the program running smoothly
Responsibilities:
1. Determines the education needs of personnel, multi-disciplinary team members and others; implements patient and family education in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
2. Provides leadership for the team in collaboration with the program medical director.
3. Oversees office operations for the program
4. Maintains records and files for the program
5. Collects and analyzing data on the program
6. Ensures compliance with program regulations
7. Plans and schedules program events
8. Monitoring program budgets
9. Helps with marketing efforts for the program
10. Prepares required reports
11. Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1. Experience managing all aspects of programs is preferred.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
3. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
4. Experience in healthcare is preferred.
5. Proficient in MS Office Suite [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Epic or similar EMR software is preferred.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required. Master’s degree in related field is preferred.
2. Certification License in related field is required (RN is required to hold current license in Ohio.
3. Years of relevant experience: 2- 4 years in Gastroenterology is preferred.
4. Years of experience supervising: None.
