Position Summary:


Responsibility for providing senior level development, maintenance, and analysis of a wide array of market, network and other data to support the initiatives and business plans of Akron Children’s Hospital.    Assists in other activities of strategy, business development, and PR and marketing areas, as needed.



Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in business, quantitative analysis, mathematics or related field. .  Minimum of eight (8) years of  experience in market or business data analytics, or a Master’s degree and five (5) years of experience. Experience in the collection, analysis and interpretation of all kinds of health and management data strongly preferred.  Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills needed to recognize trends and summarize data effectively.  Advanced knowledge of mainframe and PC based systems to include proficiency with relevant software applications and database management systems.  Ability to interact effectively with a variety of internal and external audiences.  Ability to work independently.  Advanced level of understanding of healthcare delivery systems.  Ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic work environment.
