Summary:
The Food Service Inventory Control Technician receives, stocks, issues, picks up, and transports perishable and nonperishable food, paper, and cleaning supplies and equipment.Responsibilities:
1. Receives, stocks, issues, picks up, and transports perishable and nonperishable food, paper, and cleaning supplies and equipment.
2. Performs computer data entry.
3. Responsible for inventory control and shipping of returns.
4. Follows JCAHO and HACCP guidelines and regulations including monitoring perishable food temperatures and becoming certified in SafeServe.
5. Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1. Experience in inventory control and supply chain management is preferred.
2. Experience in food service is preferred.
3. Travel and valid Ohio Driver’s License is preferred.
4. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Certification: ServSafe is preferred.
3. Years of relevant experience: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
4. Years of experience supervising: None.
