Summary:
The Integration & Experience Coordinator coordinates and supports the non-clinical integration of International Medical Graduates (IMGs) and international fellows. This role helps individuals navigate organizational systems, access resources, and transition successfully into daily life within the organization and the surrounding community.
This position serves as a central liaison across departments and provides structured, high-touch support from pre-arrival through the first year. The role also identifies opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall experience of IMGs and international fellows.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate non-clinical onboarding and integration support for IMGs and fellows, including housing, banking, transportation, and system navigation
2. Manage a caseload providing tiered support based on level of need
3. Serve as a liaison across GME, HR, Payroll, Legal, and other departments to ensure timely completion of onboarding milestones (e.g., SSN, payroll, benefits)
4. Track progress, identify barriers, and escalate issues to ensure consistent and efficient experience
5. Collect feedback and monitor trends to recommend and support continuous process improvements
6. Maintain and update resources, tools, and communication materials to support IMG/international fellows transition
7. Support orientation and early onboarding activities to ensure alignment between onboarding and real-life application
8. Works in alignment with the Medical Education Office
9. Other duties as required

Technical Expertise
1. Strong coordination and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple individuals/cases simultaneously
2. Experience working across departments (e.g., GME, HR, Payroll, Legal, etc.)
3. Ability to navigate complex external systems|
4. Ability to track data, identify trends, and support process improvements
5. Ability to translate complex processes into clear, practical guidance
6. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required
Education and Experience
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, Social Work, Human Services, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required.
2. Certification: Project Management, Intercultural/Diversity certifications preferred.
3. Years of experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in healthcare, program. coordination, onboarding, or case management working with diverse or international populations required.
4. Years of experience supervising: None required
