Summary:

The Rehab Administrative Supervisor coordinates and oversees daily operations in conjunction with the manager. Including ensuring effective and efficient operations for their assigned Rehab sites. In addition, Supervisor manages staffing, scheduling, workflow efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards, while fostering a positive and collaborative environment that supports the organization's mission.


Responsibilities:

1. Assists the manager with operations oversight of the administrative and support staff at their assigned location.

2. Assists with preparation, management, and adherence to department budget to maintain expenditure controls for capital equipment, personnel and expense needs.

3. Provides manager with pertinent information related to the department in a timely manner

4. Ensures high quality care is provided in an environment that fully embodies the principles of family-centered care and ensuring patients are seen close to home at therapy sites when indicated.

5. Accountable for practice operations and general management, financial and business management, human resource management, patient care, compliance and quality management, and business and program development

6. In conjunction with the Manager, accountable for personnel management (hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling), marketing and practice development (patient satisfaction, community programs, communications, new patient initiatives), and general administration.

7. Responsible for their administrative and support staff education, competencies, standard of care, and program development for administrative and support staff at all sites.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Other information:

Technical Expertise

1. Experience in pediatric rehabilitation is preferred.

2. Experience in supervision/management is required.

3. Experience in financial operations/management is preferred.

4. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.

5. Experience in healthcare is preferred.

6. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

7. Proficiency with Epic or another EMR system is required.

Education and Experience

1. Education: Associates degree required. In lieu of Associate's, minimum 4 years of experience in healthcare administration is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

2. Years of relevant experience: Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience is required.

3. Years of experience supervising: 1 year of lead or leadership experience required. 3 years preferred.
