Full-time, 40 Hours/Week

Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Hybrid (Onsite 2-3 days/week)


Summary:

The Research Program Coordinator will join the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute (RDCRI) to support the coordination and administration of guest research programs. This includes facilitating the involvement of learners at all levels, co-investigators, and academic partners. The coordinator plays a key role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and supporting effective communication across teams. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to RDCRI staff and researchers, coordinating logistics, and maintaining efficient workflows. This position is essential to enabling a collaborative research environment and supporting the advancement of scientific discovery.

Responsibilities:

1. Schedule and manage travel, lodging, and itinerary arrangements for guest speakers and visiting collaborators.

2. Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to RDCRI staff, program directors, and researchers, including calendar management, document preparation, and general office support.

3. Manage the influx and egress of regional academic partners, including faculty and the entire hierarchy of non-medical and medical learners.

4. Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling, logistics, ordering supplies or catering, and preparing materials.

5. Foster effective communication and collaboration among staff, researchers, and external partners.

6. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing information and assistance.

7. Coordinate and distribute internal communications, announcements, and updates.

8. Assist with the coordination of interviews and onboarding activities specific to the Summer Pediatric Research Scholars (SPRS) program, in collaboration with program leadership.

9. Serve as the internal SharePoint administrator and provide support in the coordination and management of research programs, as assigned by management.

10. Facilitate the implementation and coordination of additional research-related programs and initiatives, supporting departmental goals and growth.

11. Assist with time transfers for study personnel in Kronos.

12. Other duties as required.

Other information:

Technical Expertise

1. Proven experience as a program coordinator or similar role.

2. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

5. Familiarity with research institute operations and procedures (preferred).

6. Proficient in using office software and technology, including MS Office Suite, or similar software is required.

Education and Experience

1. Education: Bachelor's degree is required

2. Years of relevant experience: no minimum required. Prior experience with program coordination is preferred.
