Summary:
The BI Developer role requires at least two years of hands-on experience in BI development. This position focuses on creating and deploying BI solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to translate data needs into actionable insights, and improving system performance. A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective collaboration, adaptability, time management, and solid communication abilities. Exposure to notebooks, pipelines, data flows, and healthcare data analytics is preferred.Responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements BI solutions to support organizational decision-making.
2. Contributes to the creation of advanced BI platforms and data products using analytic tools and concepts.
3. Collaborates with stakeholders to translate data needs into tailored solutions.
4. Optimizes performance and reliability of BI systems using notebooks, pipelines, and data flows.
5. Participates in initiatives that align with organizational and departmental strategies.
6. Implements best practices in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.
7. Ensures data integrity and quality within BI applications.
8. Assists in identifying and resolving technical issues.
9. Utilizes healthcare data analytics tools to develop reports (preferred).
10. Adheres to data governance policies and security protocols.
11. Employs DevOps practices for code source control and management.
12. Stays current with evolving BI technologies and tools.
13. Communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders.
14. Contributes to team objectives and promotes a collaborative environment.
Other information:
Technical Expertise:
1. Familiarity with BI platforms and data visualization techniques.
2. Understanding of basic data modeling and ETL processes, including data flows.
3. Experience with notebooks and pipelines (preferred).
4. Exposure to cloud-based BI platforms and modern data architectures.
5. Basic knowledge of integrating data from various sources within connected ecosystems.
6. Awareness of data security protocols and compliance requirements.
7. Ability to learn and apply performance optimization techniques.
8. Basic knowledge in code source control and DevOps practices.
9. Good communication skills to explain technical concepts.
10. Basic understanding of healthcare data analytics (preferred).
Education and Experience:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field required (master's preferred).
2. No certification required; relevant professional certifications in data analysis, data science, analytics, project management, or healthcare are preferred.
3. Years of relevant experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on BI development experience.
4. Exposure to notebooks, pipelines, and data flows (preferred).
5. Familiarity with healthcare data analytics (preferred).
6. Eagerness to grow and develop in the BI field.
